The WASA Net has been so inviting and I really have enjoyed the fellowship each night.

My interest in amateur Radio began over 30 years ago.

I’ve been involved in Electronics since my teens eventually becoming self-employed fixing televisions VCR’s and the like in the long gone television repair business.

Following that I worked as a sewing machine technician in Pennsylvania,  Pocono Sew & Vac For the final 20 years of my work.

My first radio was an HTX202 2 m handheld that I traded for a television repair.

I begin listening to the local repeater in California CLARA and finally got the courage to attend one of their get-togethers I hadn’t studied for my license, but was welcomed just the same and soon obtained my technician and then general licenses. Some years later, I studied and passed my extra exam and I am very proud of that.

Amateur radio has been a blessing in my life, I’ve met many fine individuals and continue to do so.I look forward to serving the Net and thank you for the opportunity
