Welcome to the homepage for the

Worked All States & Awards Net

Our Mission Statement …

“To create a welcoming environment for amateur radio operators (new and experienced) to connect, work on various awards (such as Worked All States), share experiences, test equipment and build lasting friendships through regular on-air gatherings

Welcome to WASA.NET

All Amateur Radio operators – General class or above (or equivalent) are invited to join us each evening (including weekends and most holidays) on 7.188 Mhz +|~ at or around 6pm (ET). There is no fixed end time but typically, the Net runs for approx. 2.5 hours. Check-ins are welcome at any time while the Net is running.

During this net we will work to make contacts to earn awards. WASA Net awards can be found on our website (WASA Net Awards)

We use a program called Netlogger. It is a free download at netlogger.org. The program allows a participant to see who is logged into the Net and track contacts made on the Net. It also includes an AIM window (“Almost Instant Messenger”) which participants and Net Controllers can use while the Net is in progress.

We pass signal reports in order to confirm contacts. The mininum report is a 21 (which means “I can hardly hear you”). The maximum is a 59 (“How do you want your coffee?”)

Please remember to upload your logs to QRZ, eQSL, and LOTW, directly after the net in order to help those who are working for awards.
