WASA NET AWARDS

The following are the current awards available for those participating on the WASA Net.
Please note the following guidelines:
- All contacts must be completed during one or more of the WASA Nets.
- In order to submit for an award, you can either use one of the following files:
- … or – if you are using Netlogger – you can consider adding NL Net Buddy (created by N6WWW). It keeps track of all your logs for awards and lets you know what awards are available including the ones you have completed. From the Dashboard – which opens in your browser), you can select the award, generate a PDF file of your log. This PDF can be emailed directly to the Awards Manager. - The Award application should be submitted to: awards@wasanet.org
- At this time, only digital versions of the award certificates are available.
LIST OF WASA NET AWARDS
Worked All States:
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a station in each of the 48 continental states during one or more of the WASA Nets. (Endorsements for AK or HI)


WASA GREAT LAKES AWARD:
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a station in each of the states and provinces that border the Great Lakes ( Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Ontario) during one or more of the WASA Nets.
WASA AIR FORCE AWARD:
Criteria: Work 10 operators who served in the Air Force during one or more of the WASA Nets.


WASA ARMY AWARD:
Criteria: Work 10 operators who served in the Army during one or more of the WASA Nets.
WASA NAVY AWARD:
Criteria: Work 10 operators who served in the Navy during one or more of the WASA Nets.


WASA MARINE AWARD:
Criteria: Work 10 operators who served in the Marines during one or more of the WASA Nets.
WASA COAST GUARD:
Criteria: Work 10 operators who served in the Coast Guard during one or more of the WASA Nets.


Bakers Dozen:
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a station in 13 different states in a 13 day period during one or more of the WASA Nets.
13 Colonies:
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a station in each of the 13 Original Colonies during one or more of the WASA Nets.


Worked All Canada:
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a station in each of the 10 Canadian Provinces during one or more of the WASA Nets. Endorsements will be given for each Canadian Territory contacted in addition to the 10 Provinces.
Worked All NCS:
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a minimum of 10 designated WASA Net NCS stations. Endorsements will be given for each additional 10 WASA Net NCS stations worked


Worked All JOE’S
Criteria: Made at least one contact with a minimum of 12 different Joe’s .
A “Joe” can be anyone with the same first name (e.g. s dozen operators with the name David or Matthew – or variations) or the same callsign suffix.
YL / XYLs
For working 10 YLs and/or XYLs during one or more WASA Nets


Bluebelly Award
For working at least one station from ME, VT, NH, MA, RI and CT during one or more WASA Nets
Johnny Reb Award
For working at least one station from SC MS, FL, AL. GA, LA, TX, VA, AR, NC & TN during one or more WASA Nets


M 25 Award
For working at least 25 mobile (I.e. auto, marine, 18 wheeler ) during one or more WASA Nets
DX Chaser
For working at least 20 DX stations during one or more WASA Nets


East of the Mississippi
For working each state east of the Mississippi River during one or more WASA Nets. This list includes the following 26 states: AL CT DE FL GA IL IN KY MA MD ME MI MS NC NH NJ NY OH PA RI SC TN VA VT WI and WV
West of the Mississippi
For working each state west of the Mississippi River during one or more WASA Nets. This list includes the following states: AZ AR CA CO ID IA KS LA MN MO MT NE NV NM ND OK OR SD TX UT WA WY
Special Endorsements for contacts with AK and HI


VETERANS DAY / REMEMBRANCE DAY 2025
For working 5 Veterans during Nov 11th, 2025 on any WASA Nets held on Nov 11th, 2025

In your application please indicate which certificate you are applying for.
If you want to receive both the certificate for Veterans’ Day and Remembrance Day, you will need to have worked 5 Veterans for each.
12 DAYS of WASA:
Criteria: Make at least one contact on a WASA Net on each day for 12 Days each with a different operator (between Dec 24th and Jan 24th).


ONE YEAR OF WASA:
Criteria: Work 8 of the 9 Founders of the WASA Net between July 1st and July 14th, 2026
our founders include: KC3VQP . AC3LN . K4NMB . KE8GC . N6TCO . KB3BXL . VE3HZ . KC1QIA . K4VTM
INDEPENDENCE DAY AWARD:
Criteria: Work 10 operators with the same names as the Founding Fathers

THOMAS JEFFERSON, JOHN ADAMS, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, ROGER SHERMAN, ROBERT MORRIS, FRANCIS HOPKINS
For example work: Thomas 3X, John 2X and Robert 3X and a Roger, and a Franklin.
Each contact must be with a unique operator, each with a different call sign. However, you can use either the first or last name. All contacts should be made between July 1st and July 14th, 2026.

CANADA DAY AWARD:
Criteria: Work 10 Canadian stations between July 1st and July 14th, 2026. Each station can be worked no more that once per day.
